As a creative duo, Kasper and Laila vanSVane form a unique symbiosis in which they conjure up fascinating stories on canvas during their travels.

These tell (sur)realistic experiences that are inspired by travels with her two small sons, the beauty of nature and the grace of animals. Each vanSVane painting transports the viewer to a natural setting that serves as a backdrop for complex little stories.

The main protagonist is always Pacha Mama, in whose artistic universe time seems to lose its meaning.
